1. All drivers must attend drivers meeting
2. The track officials reserves the right to approve or reject any and all entries.
3. Drivers must run in the order that you draw.
4. 4 x 4 must be in lineup when their number is up (includes tire changes and repairs)
5. FIRST TRUCK IN MUD PIT WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO COME BACK IN THIRD POSITION.
6. Must have vehicle in neutral and hands in air when hooking up from start line.
7. Must have a clevis with proper hookup. All entries will be hooked up from start line.
8. If truck stalls before 25 feet you have 60 seconds to leave the starting line. The clock starts when leaving line.
9. When the GREEN FLAG drops you have 60 seconds to leave the starting line. The clock starts when leaving the starting line.
10. When being pulled out – vehicles must be in neutral.
11. Must wear safety belt and helmet and have fire extinguisher.
12. Open exhaust is allowed.
13. No cut tires in D.O.T. classes except for Class 7.
14. Driver is responsible for faulty equipment.
15. No refund if truck is unable to run.
16. Vehicles must be handled in a safe manner. NO “HOT RODDING” ALLOWED
17. Only 4 pit passes per truck will be issued to the driver and other persons over the age
18. Noncompliance of the rules will subject driver to disqualification.
19. NO REFUND PENDING DISQUALIFICATION. Any driver who doesn’t obey the rules will be disqualified at any time.
20. The decision of the judges and pit stewards will be final.
21. NO KIDS UNDER AGE 16 IN PITS.
22. No alcoholic beverages in pits.
23. Mud Bog staff or its promoters are not responsible for accident or injury.
24. Rules subject to change without notice.
SAFETY RULES
These rules were set up to insure a safe event to enable us to provide more events in the future. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated. Any violation of the rules will lead to disqualification.
1. Seat belts are required in all classes, they must be secured to floor, frame or roll cage.
2. Must have fully charge approved fire extinguisher with working 2 lbs. min secured to vehicle within driver’s reach.
3. Use of eye protection, helmet, seat belt or harnesses are mandatory for all classes. Removal of helmet is automatic disqualification.
4. All vehicles must have class three or rigid hitch point on rear center of vehicle and provide own clevis, need not be removed.
5. All vehicles must have operable brakes; driveline brakes must be shielded.
6. Vehicles with automatic transmissions must have working neutral safety switch.
7. No passengers permitted in any class.
8. All loose articles must be removed from vehicle before tech and inspection.
9. Every open top vehicle or removable soft top must have a mounted secured 4 pt. roll cage to frame or body, roll bar shall be minimum 1 ½ x 1/8 wall steel tubing or chrome molly tubing, and is recommended to have driver protection from rear.
10. All drivers must have full fire wall and floor boards except for dune buggies.
11. Vehicle batteries must be secured (if using rubber straps there must be two). If mounted inside vehicle, must be completely covered and secured to the vehicle.
12. Must have lug nuts on all studs, with minimum of four per wheel.
13. Vehicles with chain drivers must have them shielded.
14. All vehicles with open engine compartments running mechanical fans, must have shroud enclosing the blades. Any vehicle with exposed transmission hen housing must have scatter shields over the top of bell housing or have blow proof bell housing on manual transmission.
15. All vehicles must have fuel lines run under sub-floor of vehicle, not exposed to driver.
